this camera’s been in our family for almost 30 years and yet, i hardly know how to use it cuz i was barely allowed to even look at it wrong. i’ve got some 120 film on the way and can’t wait to see what kind of pictures i can get from it!

yup, you’re looking at lion and car voltron in their original boxes!!!! WOW, this really made me nostalgic! couldn’t resist putting them together once before packing them away again. (ana was there so i refrained from humming the theme song and making sound effects)

got a new treo 750 for work today that i’m testing out as a possible replacement for those crappy blackjacks we’ve been using. so far, it seems like the reception is better, but a bit more complicated to use for the less techy… i noticed there’s no aim tool installed like on the blackjacks… and i’m hoping the battery life is a bit better than the blackjacks. if not, i know they have a 1600MAH battery you can get for them, so not too worried about it.

she was the product of over a year and a half of saving change, recycling bags of phil’s diet coke cans, and saved birthday and christmas money. ana’s been more than understanding about this “crazy” obsession of mine and continues to make small contributions for my lessons that are starting this monday.

speaking of lessons, my teacher is going to be fran banish, who i found through mccabe’s guitar shop in santa monica. turns out danny played with fran back in his rocker days. btw, got her setup at mccabe’s and matt there was awesome.
